Ed grew up in the midwest has always been getting outdoors; camping, hiking, canoeing and horseback riding. He enjoys mountain biking, road biking, rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, and skiing. He has been rock climbing since 2001 and has climbed all over the United States (green belt in Austin, Enchanted Rock, Hueco Tanks, Mount Lemon in Tucson, Gunks in New York, Eldorado canyon, Clear Creek Canyon). He has also rock climbed internationally in Spain (Montserrat) and France (Caune de Minerve)..
